Tiffany is a Makeup Artist

Nov 2019, I finally pulled the trigger. I left my high flyer job in tech to pursue what I love as a Makeup artist.

I chose adventure over security, passion over conformity. 

It wasn’t an easy decision.

I struggled with it for a long time and asked myself “Should I quit my job?” 

Because I always had this struggle with -

Living up to the expectations of the society.

OR

Being true to myself.

I believe many of you struggle with this too.

So I want to dedicate this post to be true to yourself.

We deserve to wake up everyday excited, doing work we love, and feel like we are part of something bigger than ourselves.

I called my brand TiffiningBeauty as I hope to empower people to be confident in their own way. For me, I would do makeup no matter what happens, whether or not it will make money.

When I first started, I sucked.  It was so bad that sometimes the earnings can't pay the bills. I cried many times.

I really wondered if being a makeup artist was for me. Should I just give up and go back to my comfort zone?

Because I loved make-up so much, I was able to overcome my deepest fears of failure.

To me, that's passion.

So find your courage.

Let go of who you think you should be.

Be who you always meant to be!
